VJF is one of the leading companies in executing large-scale engineering projects in Bulgaria. Marking three decades in business, they reached out to us for a rebrand, feeling the need to adapt and stay ahead in a competitive market.
After 30 years of growth, deep expertise, and a diverse portfolio, the company had truly evolved, yet its brand voice failed to reflect this transformation. And that was where the real challenge lay.

Brand Strategy
Our analysis showed that as the company scaled, its role naturally evolved into a strategic partner – a shift that required a stronger presence in its overall communication. While many companies assume that quality work speaks for itself, without a well-defined brand strategy, that true value remains unseen.
To bring this front and center, we started with the fundamentals. Working closely with the client, we immersed ourselves in their culture and inner workings. This enabled us to redefine the brand, clearly articulate its core values, and set clear guidelines for how they show up in all communications.
We crafted a clear vision and mission, letting the brand’s character and tone of voice shape themselves around the team’s actual mindset and way of working – rooted in care, confidence, expertise, and partnership. To maintain this across all contexts, we created guidelines to ensure consistent messaging.
During the process, we defined a new brand essence: "Building with care for people, for business, and for tomorrow," highlighting the overarching idea that has driven the company over the years.
Thus, clear positioning and communication guidelines became strategic tools for achieving the company’s goals, underscoring high standards, integrated solutions, and sustainable construction for the future.
Visual Identity
The old logo and a fragmented narrative no longer matched the brand's true level of expertise. Grounded in a strong brand strategy, the visual identity took shape organically, with every design element serving to reinforce the brand story. We refined the logotype, keeping the essence of the original one while presenting it as a balanced, solid, and modern symbol.
The updated color palette and typography bridge innovation and growth with engineering precision. To support various applications, we created a flexible visual language that seamlessly incorporates real project photography, highlighting VJF's impressive portfolio.

“For our 30th anniversary, we wanted to build something that truly showcases our work, and we couldn't have done it alone. That’s why we trusted the expertise and experience of FourPlus. We loved their working method, as their philosophy closely mirrors our own, making the entire process smooth and efficient."

Results
What began as a brand refresh evolved into a deeper realization: the company needed to rethink its entire identity and tone of voice. The client was actively involved throughout, allowing them to adopt the changes with ease. Today, the brand speaks to its audience with confidence, a fresh visual identity, and clearly defined values – a transformation felt not just externally, but within the team itself.
